PSP homebrew developer InsertWittyName and MK2K has released a new game engine for the Sony handheld. Called Phoenix Game Engine (or PGE), the engine comes with 23 samples demonstrating how each module is used. PSP homebrew developer Royale has released a new version of the popular program, PSP-Maps, a translation of Google Maps for the Sony handheld. This version has several new features and fixes. Check them all out in the full article.

The Leipzig Games Convention organizers have decided, and they find Sony's Resistance: Retribution for the PSP as the best presented game in this year's event. Who else took bacons home? Check out the list after the jump.

"Ready for GAME time!" Tokyo Game Show 2008's theme is definitely one that can get your heart pumping. I know something else that might get your heart pumping: the full list of exhibitors to be present in this year's gaming event at Tokyo. Knowing the exhibitors at TGS 2008 might give a hint as to what games we can probably expect on the show floor (and knowing what games can, in turn, give us a hint as to what types of boothbabe cosplays we might expect to see too).
