Xbox 360 Japan - Image 1The Xbox 360 is more popular that the PlayStation 3 in the US, and the opposite is true in Japan. That's the way it's been for a long time, until the PS3 started outselling the 360 in the US this year. Now it seems the tables are also being turned in Japan, with the 360 outselling the PS3 2.5-to-1 last week. Details in the full article.

Soul Calibur 4 to get character swapping - Image 1We're about to enter the final quarter of the year, and it should be interesting to take note how our favored platforms and games are faring in terms of sales. Nintendo still appears to be raking in a lot of cash with the DS Lite and the Wii being the top sellers, while Soul Calibur IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) reigns the software charts, with both the Xbox 360 and PS3 version comfortable in the top spots.

QuickJump QuickPeek 56 - Image 1Everyone had a blast out of E3? Maybe, maybe not. We know a lot of you guys have a lot of things in your mind right now (like maybe FF13 jumping to the 360 as well?). It was a week of highs and lows for everyone, but nonetheless, it's still a crazy celebration for gaming in general. And before any more of hell breaks loose (if it hasn't already in E3), let's recap what we know so far, eh? Send in the clowns! Uh, Warriors, I mean.

FFXIII logo - for BOTH PS3 and Xbox 360 - Image 1It ain't over till it's over. Yes, fanboys and fangirls. The whole brouhaha over the Xbox 360 version of FFXIII is still abuzz, and yet there really seems to be no rest for the wicked (no pun intended). Producers Shinji Hashimoto and Yoshinori Kitase have finally opened up about the Xbox 360 version, as well as a confirmation on the FFVII announcement that's sure to "shock the fans." *Gasp!*
