Last month, Sony announced that they've sold about 10 million PSP units to Japanese retail. That figure, however, doesn't account for actual sales from the consumer. Today, we find out that that number has been breached. The PSP in its entire lifetime in Japan has indeed sold over 10 million units - and hey!, ever wondered the all-time best selling titles are in Japan? Hit the jump for lots of big numbers!

Being a homebrew application that preps your PSP memstick for Pandora installation, PSP Pandora Deluxe remains as one of the top downloads for the PSP as of late. Today, Pandora Deluxe v1.2 from DJB comes with a whackload of changes: Despartar Cementerio compatibility issues have been fixed, and the 1.50 Kernel add-ons for 3.71, 3.80, and 3.90 M33 have been included.

Ryan Payton has just revealed that he's leaving Kojima Productions. After working on MGS Portable Ops and Metal Gear Solid 4, this guy has clearly made a lasting footprint in the history of video game development. Leaving is always a heartbreaking thing, and though he would have been a shoe-in for development on the so-called MGS5 (which he seems to have already confirmed, to a degree), Payton will be taking it easy for now. "Ready for GAME time!" Tokyo Game Show 2008's theme is definitely one that can get your heart pumping. Knowing the exhibitors at TGS 2008 might give a hint as to what games we can probably expect on the show floor (and knowing what games can, in turn, give us a hint as to what types of boothbabe cosplays we might expect to see too). This year's Games Convention at Leipzig was a sure fire success. And though some of you might not think that the same could be said about E3, GC 2009 has already been scheduled. Via press release, we find out that this year's event has set records above and beyond what GC 2007 had, and reception from the masses has definitely shown a good sign that the video games industry is booming more than it used to.

A fresh batch of screens from Famitsu have rolled by over the weekend, showing some footage of Final Fantasy Agito XIII for the PSP. Finally! Here we see a group of students from the Academy - all of them with that red scarf that seems to be all the rave in the Agito world these days. And poor ol' Odin, all scarf-less and dejected. No wonder he's always angry.

Following numerous trials and tribulations (probably because of a certain rock star developer we might all know - cough*Itagaki*cough), Yoshimi Yasuda has now resigned from Tecmo. Details of his resignation weren't revealed, but the only thing we could get is that he's bidding farewell to the company for "personal reasons".
