Nintendo and Capcom's big bosses are headlining this year's CEDEC over in Japan. At the developer conference, Shigeru Miyamoto will talk about how to start game development while Inafune will be lecturing people on an area yet to be revealed. More in the full article.

 Michael Pachter is at it again, analyzing and giving his thoughts on matters concerning the game industry. This time, he laments how much money could have been made if a timely game tie-in to the blockbuster The Dark Knight was released. He says Warner Bros. and EA may have missed out on US$ 100 million. Square Enix has released its Q1 financial numbers and sales took a significant dip from last year. Sales in two out of three major markets dropped, while business in all of its portfolios also dipped. When Sony said that 2008 was the year for their comeback, they meant business. The PlayStation 3 and the PSP are showing great sales improvements, with the console doing twice as good as last year. The handheld has also belted great figures, which you can see in the full article up ahead.

Homebrew developer drkIIRaziel has released four videos of his nullDC project for the PSP. This one is a Sega Dreamcast emulator and it's looking pretty real to us. There's no download as of yet, but there should be some soon enough. Go to the full article and be amazed.

Thanks in large part to Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Sony is licking some serious PlayStation 3 sales chops.
